National Stock Number 5330-01-371-7183 uses the ZZ-R-765 which is an elastic material of solid, compact or cellular structure having smooth, crepe or porous surface. This NSN has an oval, parallelogram, square, rectangular or D-shaped cross section and is produced in various thicknesses.
These rubber strips are manufactured up to widths of 6″ (152.4mm) or less. The part may or may not have a nonrubber backing. The nomenclature for these parts is nonmetallic rubber strips.
