Rubber Materials

Neoprene / Chloroprene is a popular synthetic polymer that is uniquely resistant to petroleum oils, environment, ozone, UV, and oxygen.

Vip’s Ecoprene is a proprietary house formulation that offers a quality, low-cost alternative for use in non-critical applications.

Known for its excellent resistance to ozone and environment, EPDM is often found in automotive, water, and construction applications.

Fluorocarbon/FKM features the combination of high temperature and chemical resistance and is often considered a universal elastomer.

Fluorosilicone / FVMQ

Fluorosilicone features the wide temperature stability of silicone with the resistance to fuels and oils that fluorocarbon exhibits.

Natural Rubber

Natural rubber has high tensile strength and is a good choice for applications requiring good resilience, abrasion, and tear resistance.

Nitrile / NBR

Nitrile is a popular material due to its great petroleum resistance, custom compounding abilities, and excellent resistance to fluids.

Silicone exhibits a unique resistance to extreme hot and cold temperatures and outdoor elements including ozone, oxygen and moisture.

SBR has good heat aging and abrasion resistance and is typically used in the automotive, industrial, HVAC and mining industries.

Butyl rubber boasts great resistance to weathering, ozone, and chemicals. Often used in applications that require vibration dampening.
