Understanding Prop 65

We care about you, and your right to know!

The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, commonly known as California Proposition 65 (Prop 65), requires businesses to provide a “clear and reasonable” warning on products that contain chemicals known to the State of California that may cause cancer or reproductive harm.

We distribute our products throughout the United States and manufacture in the State of California. In order to comply with California Proposition 65 VIP Rubber Company Inc. will:

• Provide product exposure warnings on every Certificate of Conformance (CofC), if applicable label each container with Proposition 65 warning, if applicable
• Label each container with Proposition 65 warning, if applicable

VIP Rubber Company will label all applicable products as required by California state law with the exception of out of state customers who opt out by signing a letter declaring that we disclosed the Prop 65 warning and that they will not be selling our product back into State of California. Please contact your customer service representative for more information if you would like to opt out.

The above actions will begin no later than January 1st, 2019
